Saudi Women's Football Gets its Spotlight: Indiviza Awards Arrive
The inaugural Indiviza Awards spotlight Saudi women's football in Riyadh.

What to expect from the inaugural Indiviza Awards

In partnership with Roshen Group, Futbolko announced the first edition of the Indiviza Awards to celebrate Saudi women players on and off the pitch. The goal is to honor achievements across the sport in the Kingdom and beyond, from the field to the media room.

Indiviza will be supported by Futbolkos Arabic language network and is complemented by coverage from Goal and Koora, expanding the reach of Saudi womens football. The combined media effort will reach over 170 million Arabic speaking fans monthly, including more than 20 million in Saudi Arabia.

Voting, categories, and the crown

The awards present a slate of stadium categories such as Best Player of the Year, Best Young Player, Best International Player, Best National Team Player, Goal of the Year, and Team of the Year for each position. A preliminary shortlist of seven names is prepared per category, except for the Goal of the Year where five goals are considered.

The process begins with the initial lists announced on April 20, followed by public voting through April 30. A second stage on May 1 introduces mini lists of three names per category, with a further 10 day voting window ending on May 10.

The Goal of the Year winner is decided by public vote during the second stage, while the rest of the winners are determined by a technical committee without public votes.

Ceremony date and impact

The winners will be announced on May 13 during a formal ceremony in Riyadh, after the 2025-2026 Saudi Womens Premier League season wraps up.

The Indiviza awards are backed by Roshen and presented in partnership with Indiviza, marking a milestone for Saudi womens football and for the ecosystems that cover the sport in the region.

The awards will be supported by a robust Arabic language media push across platforms including Goal, Koora and Indiviza, reaching more than 170 million Arabic speaking fans each month, including over 20 million in the Kingdom.

The ceremony on May 13 will officially crown the champions and highlight the rise of Saudi Arabia's womens football. And if you blink you might miss a goal because the horizon of the game is now as fast as a kid chasing a sugar high after halftime.

Punchline 1 If the trophy could talk, it would demand a selfie with every fan before it goes on display. Punchline 2 In Saudi football, even the rain sounds like applause when the crowd roars at a stunning finish.
