Bremer’s Return Sparks Juventus Ahead of Roma Showdown

Bremer’s Return and Juventus’ Injury News
Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti got good news as Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer recovered and was set to feature against Bologna after a 78-day layoff.
Bremer started in four of Juve’s first five Serie A games this season but has since missed nine straight league matches and 15 across all competitions following a knee injury in September.
Bremer had not played since the 1-1 draw with Atalanta on September 27, but after 78 days he came on as a second-half substitute against Bologna in Serie A.
Roma Clash and Team Selection
Ahead of Juventus’ eagerly awaited clash with Roma, scheduled for Saturday in Serie A, Spalletti will also be without Dutchman Teun Koopmeiners due to suspension for yellow cards.
Koopmeiners, who has regularly filled the role of the third centre-back since Spalletti took charge, will miss the Roma match because of accumulation of cautions.
Juventus sit fifth in the Serie A table on 26 points, one point behind Roma in fourth.
Punchline: If comebacks were recipes, Bremer just plated up a 78-day soufflé—slightly crunchy on the outside, a winner on the inside.
Punchline 2: And if you thought your Wi‑Fi was slow, wait till you see the pace of this comeback on the pitch.
