German winger Karim Adeyemi, a Dortmund star, wants to leave his club in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Adeyemi joined Dortmund's Black and Yellow squad in 2022, but has failed to meet expectations there.

German daily Bild reported that Adeyemi wants to leave Dortmund because his girlfriend wants to live in a big European city.

The newspaper added that Adeyemi informed Dortmund's management of his decision, and his future remains within the club.

The paper did not mention potential destinations for Adeyemi should he depart Dortmund officially.

Adeyemi is under contract with Dortmund until 2027.

The German winger arrived at Signal Iduna Park in July 2022, coming from Salzburg in Austria.

Since then, Adeyemi has played 128 matches across competitions, scoring 32 goals and providing 22 assists for his teammates.
