Barça’s Triple Comeback Plan: Can De Jong, Balde, and Koundé Patch Rafinha’s Setback?
Barça targets a triple comeback to face Atlético Madrid

Update on the Barcelona trio

Barcelona awaits a triple boost to mend its wounds after the shock of Rafinha's injury, sidelining him for up to five weeks.

The focus is on the injured trio Frenkie de Jong, Alejandro Balde, and Jules Koundé.

Mundo Deportivo reported that the countdown has begun for the Barca trio to return to group training.

The Barca trio showed good progress in recovering from their various injuries and are entering the final phase of their rehabilitation programs, hoping to be fit for the highly anticipated match against Atlético Madrid.

Koundé and Balde have greater chances to feature against Atlético Madrid, compared with the Dutch midfielder.

Balde and Koundé were injured specifically against Atlético Madrid in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final, Balde suffering a left hamstring injury, while Koundé injured the same muscle but in its middle portion.

As for De Jong, he sustained an injury during training on February 26, in the right hamstring.
