Keller shines in second appearance
The Cameroonian defender Stefan Keller, newly arrived at Al-Ittihad, scored his first goal for the club in just his second appearance.
Keller found the net as Al-Ittihad added a fourth against Al-Sadd at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, in the final ACL group-stage round.
The goal came in the 63rd minute after a loose ball in the box and a goalkeeper’s advance, guiding the ball into an empty net.
At 24, Keller is the Tigers' latest signing, arriving on loan from Limassol in January and hoping for more to come this season.
He had featured in the previous match against Al-Gharafa, a 7-0 win, but failed to score there as well.
A small step, big hopes for the Tigers.
