Niclas Vollkrug: Milan Move on Loan
Niclas Vollkrug, West Ham United's forward, underwent medical checks in Milan on Tuesday evening, with an official move to AC Milan expected once the January transfer window opens.
The 32-year-old striker will join on loan with an option to buy.
Sources say the deal could be a free loan with the purchase option valued around €11-€13 million.
Vollkrug is expected to don Milan's number 9 for the second half of the season.
Beyond the deal, Milan are already scouting a striker for next season and Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus remains a prime target, especially with his contract expiring in June 2026.
Vlahovic's Juve deal runs out at the end of this season, meaning talks could surface during the winter window ahead of a possible summer move.
Financial aspects aside, Milan's winter plan could reshape their attack for the upcoming campaign.
Details pending.
And if this attack plan gels, it might just be the moment Milan fans realize their team finally learned how to steal a page from a calendar—the January window.
